1. Who are we?

PlanetReseller is an ICANN and auDA accredited domain name registrar offering a comprehensive reselling facility to businesses that wish to offer their customers domain name registration, web hosting, email and other value added services. We provide simple and fast integration with our domain name registration and web service provisioning engines.

2. What is the process of setting up a reseller account?

To become a reseller, all you have to do is sign up through the PlanetReseller reseller website and put in the initial $50 credit. Once we receive your application, it takes 2-4 working days to approve and set up your account.

3. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept several credit card options including American Express, Visa, Mastercard. Switch/Solo, and Diners Card.

4. Can I get better prices if I buy in bulk?

Sure! We are willing to negotiate prices for resellers who purchase a bulk number of domain per month. Call us for more information.

5. How do I get paid?

You keep all your hard earned profits – we don't do "revenue sharing". With the private label web interface, retail payments are remitted to PlanetReseller with the difference between your wholesale cost and your retail price (which you set) rebated to you. Rebates are remitted in your choice of currency; US Dollars, British Pounds or Australian Dollars, by direct deposit into your nominated bank account. When the net payments owing to you reach USD $50, you can generate an invoice online in real time, and get paid by bank transfer. If you choose the API method of integration, payment is made to us up front for the wholesale cost. You can use your own systems to bill your customers.

6. How do I Withdraw Funds?

• Check your invoice online using the "Generate Invoice" tool located in the reseller control panel.
• Please ensure that the wholesale prices listed in the report are correct.
• For first time reseller, once you have reached over $50 commission, you will need to download and fill in the Direct Deposit Bank form by downloading the form here along with a copy of your bank slip: Refer to support documentation to download the payment form.
• After you have filled in the form and signed it, please fax it to 613-9821 5141 and email resellersupport@planetreseller.info to let us know that you have sent it and wish to be paid your commission.
• If you wish to change your bank details for subsequent payments you should send the form to us again with the new bank details clearly indicated.
• Once the invoice is approved it will take 2-4 weeks to be deposited into your account.

7. What other fees are involved?

PlanetReseller uses Worldpay as our payment gateway and merchant services provider.

• Worldpay imposes a flat fee of 3.5% of the retail price for all transactions denominated in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pound Sterling, Euros and Japanese Yen.
• For transactions denominated in Australian dollars a fee of 2.55% is applicable for Visa and Mastercard and 3.5% for American Express.

These fees are deducted from your commissions payable, and are viewable when you click "generate invoice" in the reseller admin control panel. Your bank may also charge you a processing fee when we direct deposit funds to your account. The amount of this fee varies per bank, and you should speak to your bank before you proceed.

8. I have my own domain name. How do I get it to work with my private label site?

• Transfer your domain name to your new reseller private label system. Delegate it to the following name servers - ns1.planetdomain.com and ns2.planetdomain.com.
• Create a CNAME to point from the host to whitelabel.planetdomain.com.
• If your DNS is not hosted with us, you will need to contact your current DNS hosting provider to instruct you on how to make these changes. Please allow at least 30 minutes for the DNS records to propagate after which your domain name will start to resolve to our web server.
• Log in to the control panel and click the button "Add/Edit Host Names". You should enter all the hostnames you created earlier in the DNS management interface such as www.yourdomain.com, yourdomain.com, domains.yourdomain.com etc.
• Please wait 20 minutes for the hostnames to begin to resolve correctly.

9. Where do you host your infrastructure?

PlanetReseller hosts the registration system in our highly secure Internet Data Centers located in the United States and Australia with 24x7 physical and virtual security monitoring. All traffic is monitored by our expert security engineers around the clock in our Network Operation Center Infrastructure security monitoring system, as well as fully maintained and monitored firewalls and logs. All servers are SSL 128-bit encrypted. We also have 24x7 security guards, video surveillance, motion sensors, access control using biometric readers, PIN number access and personnel who have undergone extensive background checks.

10. I already sell my own hosting. Is this a problem?

Not at all. You do not need to offer any of our value added services. We even help you integrate your existing hosting product into the domain name registration process. Your customer will be asked if they require hosting and after paying for the domain name can be directed to your hosting registration page at whatever URL you choose.

11.What kind of support will I get?

Our telephone support is 24/7 and we aim to respond to email tickets within 24 hours. We also have an account manager dedicated to our resellers.

12.Can my clients register domains on my web site and it automatically goes through my account with PlanetReseller?

Yes, your reseller account is a fully functioning Domain Name registration site with its own inbuilt whois look ups and payment gateway.

13. I am based in Australia. Do your prices include GST?

Yes, all Australian companies are applicable for GST (goods and service tax).
